Receptionist
Salary: £13K + bonus, 40 hours a week, shift work (including evening and weekends)

As a receptionist you are one of the most important member of the team, you provide the first and last impression guests get when they arrive at the hostel. You will need to provide excellent customer service in all circumstances. Reception provides the link between guests and the hostel staff. You will need to communicate any issues or concerns raised by guests to your line manager. Please note that the list is not exhaustive and other duties might be added.
Qualifications & skills:
Essential:
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong people skills, must enjoy dealing with people
• A keen interest within the hospitality sector particularly the youth and student market
• The ability and confidence to deal with computer reservations and also telephone switchboard
• Must be well organised and able to handle several tasks simultaneously and under pressure
• The ability to handle cash (vouchers, foreign currency etc) and to balance all transactions at end of shift
• Previous reception experience within the hospitality sector
• Good typing ability
Desirable:
• Relevant qualifications within Travel and Tourism
• Complete fluency in another European language
Personal:
• Fun personality
• Can do attitude
• Smart & clean appearance
Entertainer evenings/weekends-
Salary: £6 per hour - Hours: 25 hours per week

Responsible for entertaining guests during their stay; the entertainer is very important as he is a fun point of contact for guests and therefore it is essential that they provide a warm, fun and welcoming atmosphere. The entertainer is to run daily events such as karaoke, quiz, games, theme parties etc. The entertainer is to make sure the events are always well advertised and are attended by people. They should show initiative and always try to come up with new ideas. Their role is to have fun with the guests so that they have the best time while staying at Clink!
Skills and Qualifications required:-
Essential:

•Creative, friendly & stylish with some computer skills + able to use a camera
•Bubbly & clean appearance
•Be prepared to wear fancy dress
•Strong people skills, must enjoy being with people
•Confident at talking in front of people (microphone/intercom might be used)

•Have team spirit

Desirable:
•Fluency in another European language
•Good at graphic design
